My birthday gang bang happens this weekend!
Everyone who is involved is so excited. They’ve been having weird dreams about it. They’ve been freaking out with nervous excitement.
They ask if I’m nervous. Not really, but I get giddy every time I think about it!
I have to admit, organizing it has been like planning a wedding for my partner and me – it’s been stressful, but in a good way. Almost everything seems to be going as planned, which is amazing. I hope this email finds you and your people doing well. I have been in touch with you individually and we all share excitement for this Saturday! It has been really fun thinking through all of the details and seeing this come to fruition. Kendra and I are really happy with the group of people who have come together to make this happen. All great, down to earth, respectful, folks that we consider friends?!?!?!? Pretty amazing!
It is a charming house, affectionately known (by Kendra and myself…and now you) as the Chateau de Slut. We would like to have cocktails and ice breaking time starting early, then fold in to the main event after an hour or so. That being said, there is no concrete schedule. The evening will unfold and flow freely. Good people, good times kind of thing!
Remember there is no pressure to “perform”. You can never predict how things like this will pan out, so the only expectation is that we all enjoy ourselves in whatever capacity we feel comfortable. It will be a night to remember, regardless!!
There will be some light food to eat and plenty of bourbon of course.
