The Private Gym – Give Your Cock a Workout!

By Kendra Holliday | November 30, 2014

Sigh. Stupid dick pics

Penis angst is epidemic.

Do you know how many men contact me seeking help regarding their penis?

A LOT. Like, five a day. That adds up to 1,825 a year on average.

They love their penises. They REALLY love their penises. They think about their penises a lot, and appreciate all the fun times and great sensations, but still. All is not rosy in the realm of Dick.

These men have a bone to pick with their penis. Complaints lodged against the maligned member include:

It’s not hard enough.

It’s not big enough.

It cums too fast.

It’s unreliable.

It’s too old.

It’s out of control.

If you would like better control over your penis, more reliable erections, more powerful orgasms, and help reigning in premature ejaculation, then I invite you to sign up for The Private Gym.

From the press release:

The Private Gym, LLC announced today the release of its groundbreaking, innovative fitness program, Private Gym, the first FDA registered exercise program that strengthens the pelvic muscles. Using the Private Gym program, in less than 10 minutes a day, three days a week can strengthen the muscles that support and control the penis. Pelvic muscle training results in more rigid erections, reduction of premature ejaculation and heightening of orgasms, as well as support of prostate health and improvement of urinary control. Aside from boosting sexual performance, achieving fit pelvic muscles can help prevent the onset of erectile dysfunction.

Private Gym - Work your penis!

Private Gym – Work your penis!

I have to admit, upon first glance, I was skeptical. It seemed to be a lot of slick marketing.

But as I dug deeper and reviewed the 8 Week Exercise Program + Resistance Equipment, I started to see the value in this penis strengthening option. I have a pelvic floor barbell and yoni eggs, so why shouldn’t men have something like that for their secret sex muscles?

Research is all well and good, but it’s always good to try it out yourself. Trouble is, I don’t have a penis, so I recruited a friend for hands on feedback:

“So, upon Kendra’s invitation to be an Accomplice in her reviewing of the Private Gym, I rose to the occasion. I visited the website for the Private Gym for Men (www.privategym.com), and decided to get the whole enchilada to review for you fine people. There is a $60 version which includes an instructional DVD, booklet, and a copy of Male Pelvic Fitness by Andrew L. Siegel, M.D. The $100 version includes the above, and a weighted band with an additional magnet weight, and a simple, formed carry case.

The concept behind the exercises in Male Pelvic Fitness and the Private Gym is, as the title of the web page suggests, the use of Kegel exercises (yes, those exercises developed for the fairer sex, pre and post pregnancy) to increase sexual performance and pleasure, as well as general pelvic health. The weightless exercises have already been used in recovery regimens after prostate and other pelvic surgeries. They are designed to strengthen the Pelvic Floor Muscles, those involved in the so-called “Three S’s: Support, Sphincter, and Sex.”

The exercise program, which comes in two parts: unweighted and weighted, is simple and straightforward. I’m two weeks in to the Basic Program, without weight. The basic organization of the program is three sessions a week, each session being three sets of 30 muscle flexes, each week involving a different tempo and duration of hold.

I already feel a difference between my legs, in that I am more aware of my pelvic floor muscles, including the muscles responsible for elevating the erect penis, as well as those necessary for urinary control those for keeping the anus closed. The Basic Program is aimed at conditioning and activating muscles that are typically out of shape from our sedentary work culture. These exercises can be performed anywhere and anytime.

The resistance program involves the weighted band, and eventually the additional weight (more available for purchase for he who wants to knock down doors with his cock). The band is a hygienic material, supple and washable. The main caveat for the resistance exercises is that they require the maintaining of an erection to hold the weighted band on. I’m looking forward to getting to that segment, since stroking off as part of an exercise program sounds delightful to me. The resistance program will be an additional 4 week regimen.

The accompanying book, Male Pelvic Fitness, is actually a decent read, written to cater to a number of different readers. There is plenty of medical jargon, but the good doctor has included many highlighted notes that allow for a good amount of skimming. It covers important male issues, such as ED and other sexual dysfunctions, and the benefits of a strong pelvic muscle group in reversing problems and increasing function. This book is a very good reference for those concerned about getting the most out of their motion. There is an additional section with Pilates exercises to further increase strength and performance.

I do not regret this purchase at all. For the price of a couple of sex toys, or a hanging harness, one gets the tools towards a significant benefit in pelvic health, and , gentleman, boys, and other men out there, I think we can all benefit from this. I look forward to continuing to improve through this program.”

Plus, Private Gym provides excellent customer service. The people I have worked with have been prompt, friendly, and helpful. It’s like they really care about the success of your sexual health and happiness!

Using the Private Gym system can replace the use of pharmaceutical drugs. It’s always good to explore natural options before popping the pills, right? This takes a bit of effort and commitment, but I think it is well worth it.

Your penis deserves a shot at the Gold Medal!

I think it would be fun to incorporate the exercises into your sex life – do it before masturbating (instant reward!) or do it with a partner. I’m imagining a dominatrix type woman lining up a group of men and putting them through the paces, flicking them with a riding crop when they flag. Hee hee! A personal trainer for your Private Gym!

But your friend didn’t answer the burning questions (forgive that figure of speech). He might not be able to for a couple more weeks, but:

1. Are the erections better/longer lasting based on your starting baseline?

2. Are the orgasms better? The penis longer? ED gone?

Give us the results beyond “I can feel my pelvic floor) please!

Well Stephen, I can only review what I’ve gone through. I wrote this after the second week of exercises. Wanted to get the review out before Thanksgiving (and I am giving thanks).

I don’t think that I am kidding myself when I say that my orgasms are stronger and longer. I do not currently have a sex partner, so I only have myself to offer analysis. (I do not believe that I suffer from ED, though I know that I have on occasion lost an erection during sex, when I start thinking too much.) Penis longer? No, nor does the program suggest that that will happen. In fact, the good doctor suggests that coming to grips (pun) with what you got is the only way to go. I myself will appear longer once I lose a few pounds (more than several, in fact), as that will reveal more of what I’ve been given in the first place.

I promise to continue to update my review, in the comments. I’ve got another week of weightless exercises, before I break out the big guns. So, another 5 weeks of analysis to come (yet another pun, though it took no effort to make it intentionally).

I must point out that there is a lot of information in the book that comes with the program and that I am pleased to have learned more about my own pelvic floor. It’s pretty nice to have a program that allows me to get to know myself better.

      Thanks for the update!

There’s a whole area of Physical Therapy that deals solely with the pelvic floor, so it must be important.

I worry I’ll feel goofy as hell doing penis-based exercises, but the price isn’t terrible based on your results. So I’ll just call it a “Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Kit” and make my order soon.

I am intrigued. Never been afraid to give my cock a workout, but this seems like common sense addition for those of us who love our cocks and want to maximize our pleasure
