Safe Porn Sites

Choose your porn sites wisely!

Recently I was asked if I could recommend any good porn sites that won’t give you a computer virus. I consulted with a couple of porn experts, and the following list is what they came up with. Note: some of these do have pop-ups, but they aren’t dangerous.

Incidentally, did you know a 2010 study suggested that porn sites are safer to visit than normal sites?  You can read details here. And here’s a 2012 report stating that porn sites are safer to browse than religious sites!

pornhub.com

youporn.com

pornsitereviews.com

pornplanner.com

toppornsites.com

pornutella.com

bestporn.net

bestpornsites.net

keezmovies.com

tube8.com

extremetube.com

spankwire.com

xtube.com

pornmd.com

xvideos.com

makelovenotporn.tv

xhamster.com

beeg.com

What are your favorite porn sites? And remember – if you appreciate a certain porn actor or company, be sure and contribute financially to their good efforts in order to ensure they stick around! Supporting the industry is the safest and most ethical way to enjoy porn!

My experience has been that even some of these sites can be problematic. My understanding is that the sites themselves are safe, but the webmasters of the sites can’t control what ads appear. As a result some of those ads can be malicious. Last week my computer was infected with 2 Trojans after spending time on xhamster. In the past I have also had problems with Pornhub and YouPorn.

I can’t speak for xhamster, but my company owns PornHub and YouPorn. They are in complete control of the ads that appear on their pages (not of the popups maybe) but the pages themselves. If you notice, we only put ads to our own properties.

At the same time, speaking as someone who works all day on porn sites, I’ve never gotten a virus from any of them. In fact, I’d say it happens extremely rarely. The last time I remember it happening to someone, I was working for a different porn company and the guy was going on all sorts of sketchy sites that had nothing to do with porn – many were financial stock trading sort of sites (he later got fired). So while it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that a site did infect your computer, I would strongly judge many of the other sites you have spent time on and consider one of those mainstream sites may have been the culprit.

Also, there’s a lot to be said for good anti-virus protection at all times. Invest in a quality one.

My point is, it shouldn’t deter you and it’s very safe (and healthy!) to watch porn.

It’s true! I have to be careful and make sure there’s always porn on my screens (I have two) or something work-related. I don’t want to be caught spending time on something non-work related like Facebook or something.

When I’m at work, I have to work and that work happens to be porn. :)

And now I bet you’re all jealous!

I never click on the ads. Ads on site that doesn’t have the standing of Google or Yahoo can be landmines.

The last malware I caught came from streaming site, where I decided at the last minute, I wanted to watch the World Series. I have a good firewall and anti-malware program. I’ve been to many of the sites listed above and I seldom get an attack warning.

It may be true that antivirus programs protect you from yesterday’s threats, but it’s also not so likely that you’ll run across something cutting edge. Those programs are worth the cost.

Yes, it is funny, or actually not funny and typical that sex sites have the reputation for carrying malware when really, they’re not even close to the worst, and the worst is eight as bad. And religious/ideological sites are three times as bad.

The truly remarkable thing about the rates of malware is that it works like this in the real world, too. You hear about the STI’s, which covers about two dozen diseases, when there are hundreds or thousands of food born diseases, and even more water born diseases. And most of those have not even been identified. It’s just so weird that this tendency to expect divine justice for disdained sex is so strong that it carries over into the cyberworld. I begin to think that much of our culture’s sexual morality is actually based on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Just like stepping on crack can break your mother’s back, one bad coupling can bring you gum disease or a lightning strike depending on how much you enjoyed it.

I’m happy to say that because we operate a completely different kind of business model, which you can read about in my launch blog post here:

http://talkabout.makelovenotporn.tv/post/29383253943/helloworld

MakeLoveNotPorn.tv has zero pop-ups or advertising-related issues of any kind. We do plan to carry advertising eventually, but of a very different nature to anything you have ever seen on any other adult site..and I guarantee you’ll find it highly entertaining :)

You can read more about what we’re building on our blog: http://talkabout.makelovenotporn.tv/

Thanks so much for the coverage!

My favorite part about xnxx.com is the sheer variety of arcane, highly specialized categories. “Santa” sex videos? Yup.
